How will I know if Anahata is the “right” place for me?
Anahata is a special place – our purpose is discovering the action of Seva – a transformational way of exchanging energy with the common good. Why Seva? Because Seva is the most abundant way to meet our personal needs, and it connects us to the whole – this is especially true when compared to people doing energy exchanges that are instead based on self-interest. From years of hosting work traders (energy traders) we have gotten much better at figuring out who will fit in and who won’t – so read on to determine if this is the right place for you!
Anahata is the right place for you if:
A while ago, you started changing the way you live because you love Nature so much.
You have been searching for a more meaningful life and have taken steps towards that.
You are really interested in experiencing Off-Grid living because it creates harmony for you and the planet.
You have a nearly daily practice of some kind that could be described as spiritual.
You value personal growth over personal convenience.
You are a curious person – curious about the world, curious about yourself because you like change.
While you were reading this website, you found yourself saying “Hell YES!”
Anahata is NOT the right place for you if:
Your main goal is a vacation in Hawaii, the rest is not that important.
Your main focus is low cost/no cost vacation/accommodations while in Hawaii .
You read the Anahata agreements and were like “I can live with that”
As you read this website you were like “humm, sounds weird”.
You think Anahata is perfect because no where else has worked out for you yet.
You were attracted to Anahata because it offered the lowest hours of work trade that you could find.
What is a “Hell YES!” And why is it so Important to you?
“Hell YES!” matters so much because “yes” doesn’t really mean much in today’s world. People often say “yes” when they really mean “humm, I guess that’s Ok” or they really wanted to say “No” but felt awkward about saying “No”. Why is This? Because in our societal conditioning we are taught that saying “No” is anti-social, is negative, or even wrong, so often we say “yes” when we don’t really mean it. Imagine what would happen if a group of people attempted to create a safe community together using a set of agreements and it’s members said “yes” to these agreements but many members were not really on board with the agreements – and if they were really being honest with themselves they would have said “That doesn’t work for me” to some of the agreements. Can you see how this could create lots of Drama for this community? This is why you need to be a “Hell YES!” to our agreements and to the other information on this website, otherwise, it won’t work out for you, or us, and can be a frustrating experience. So please ask yourself right now “Am I a Hell YES! to Anahata?”
